Path Variables

Introduction

This section allows you to change path variables. Path variables are used to store directory paths representing the locations of the setup source files. These variables are resolved at build time but do not appear in the built MSI package. In general, you should not need to change these variables unless the source location of your files has changed and Wise Installation Studio can no longer build your project. Right-click the list below to create a new path variable. Select an entry in the list to delete or modify the properties of a path variable.

NOTE: All path variable values must end in a backslash ('').

Updating path variables

You must change your path variables' values if Wise Installation Studio can no longer find your files. If the reason why Wise Installation Studio can't access the files is because you've moved your files to a different location, you must update the path variables to reflect that new location.
