Product Information

This view allows you to enter information about the product you are installing. This information can include the product name, version, company name, and other information. You can also set up the directory where the product is installed and customize the way the product is listed in Add/Remove Programs.

Add/Remove Programs

In this section you can configure how the product is listed in the Add/Remove Programs control panel applet. For instance, set Don't show in list to True if you don't want your product to appear in the Add/Remove Programs list. You can also enter optional support information and disable certain functions of Windows Installer such as Repair. You can also specify the path to a readme document installed by the application.

General

In this section, you specify information describing the product being installed. You must specify a product name, manufacturer, version, and product code for your product. It is also recommended that you configure an upgrade code for your product.
